Green Buddha is more than a line of clothing and accessories - it's a way of life. The founders of Green Buddha sincerely hope that the Green Buddha line will reflect and inspire a spirit of Gratitude in both the user and the user's sphere of influence. Green Buddha is a way of promoting a lifestyle of gratitude, compassion, and love while raising one's consciousness to higher values in life.
The Green Buddha Founders
The Green Buddha line of products was created by the mother-daughter team of Jeanne Dowell and Dana Dowell Windatt, who have had amazing results practicing the principals of Gratitude in their lives.
Jeanne Dowell, former Yoga Instructor under the US Olympic Committee, has been teaching for over 40 years with studies throughout the world including Greece, India and Morocco.
Green Buddha gives Jeanne the opportunity to extend further the same principles found in her yoga teaching--a heart-focused practice that cultivates the principles of Alignment, Attitude, and Action to unveil the innate goodness and worth of each other and every being.
Dana Dowell Windatt
Dana is an actress who teaches yoga in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is proud to have started a company based on gratitude with her biggest inspiration... her 81 year old mother from whom she learned that inner beauty is much more important than outer beauty.
Dana is also the designer of all of Green Buddha's t-shirt lines!
Using Green Buddha products brings one in congruence with nature. The ethically responsible production, and conscientious use, of Green Buddha products demonstrates a philosophy of life and living beyond mere economic expedience. We offer t-shirts for men, women, and children, yoga attire, tote bags, and other products all made from organic or reusable materials.
A percentage of our profits go to S.E.E.D.S. which provides a grass roots relief to Nepal's poorest villages. It's our way of giving back in gratitude for all we have.
Our men's and children's T-shirts come from Bono and Ali Hewson's clothing line, EDUN, which supports developing areas of the world, particularly Africa.
When I started counting my blessings in GRATITUDE, my whole life turned around."
